1. Timespan
2. Plots (events that make up the story and what leads up to the resolution)
3. Conflict complexity
Why? Well, see below!
Short stories and novels are very different, and they vary in many different categories that make up why they’re called what they’re called. One difference between these two is the timespans set. In short stories, the timespan tends to be very short because as mentioned, it is a short story. The plot is kept simple, and a short solution to a problem is identified and put into action. The next difference is plot (and subplots). Plots are a huge difference between these two because in a short story, little capacity of description is provided, whereas in a novel, the plot is described more in depth. It typically is more reasonable to read a novel because the plot familiarizes itself with the reader, which results in a better comprehension of how the problem is brought about and solved. The final difference is conflict complexity. This is a big difference as well between novels and short stories because in a novel, the conflict is less timely and more descriptive. The protagonist may often encounter more conundrums in the path of solving one, which would make the general conflict more difficult to solve. The correct answer is B.
Business have a double role in economy. They are the manufacturers that produce goods and services to satisfy the needs of consumers therefore, as the graph attached shows, they participate both in the factor and product markets:
- On one side, they buy productive factors in the resource markets (land, labor and capital) and they pay for them (salaries, rents and interests respectively).
- On the other side, they produce goods and services to household in the product market, in exchange for a price. This revenue, after cost deduction, would suppose the profit they earn for the manufacturing activity.
The correct answer should be During the Civil war because photography did not exist before the 19th century, which is when the civil war happened.
These are the circumstances under which the protest of the students in Tinker v. Des Moines would be deemed unprotected speech:
if their action had clearly threatened order and safety.
And since it didn't, there was no reason for it to be deemed unprotected speech.
The America Legislator that assaulted a fellow Congressman prior to the start of the Civil War was Preston Smith Brooks, an supporter of slavery, who beat Senator Charle Sumner, an abolitionist, close to death at the United State Senate itself. For decades later Senators carried weapons, including revolvers into the Senate to protect themselves from assaults. Preventive measures proved unsufficient, since many more violent acts happenned over the years.
