What is presidential republic?

History
1 answer:
KIM [24]3 years ago
6 0
A presidential republic is one where the president is also the head of state, but he isn't involved in the legislative process and has his own executive branch. An example of this can be the government of the United States of America. Opposite of this would be a separation of powers where a president would not also be the head of the government.
