.A. because action words describe the action or doing of something. In the sentence Michelle runs every day at five o'clock. Run is the action word because it is describing what she is doing.

Answer:

The sentence that uses the word "run" as an action verb is:

A. Michelle runs every day at five o'clock.

Explanation:

An action verb is a verb that is used to express mental or physical activity. In other words, it is used to give action to a subject. So we not only modify the sense of the subject to qualify it as a special object like the subjects in the case of B, C, and D options. Instead, it is used to communicate that the subjects running not that it is qualified as a "run" object. An example of this is: runny nose vs. Michelle runs every day.

Supporting Detail- Bob Ewell is left handed.
satela [25.4K]
God I read this so long ago but assuming Bob is the guy accused of beating the white guy's wife, I think the book lets the reader know that he's left handed through Atticus's demonstration when Atticus threw something at Ewell and he caught it with his left hand. Atticus then asks why he didn't catch it with his right and then Ewell says he hurt it when he was younger.

Why wasn't Baba on welfare in America?
Olin [163]

Hi, you've asked an incomplete question. However, I inferred you are referring to the character in the story, "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini.

Answer:

he is a refugee

Explanation:

Remember, in the story, we are told that Baba is originally from Afghanistan. However, despite living a wealthy life in his homeland, he is forced to move to America where he became a refugee having little financial means and freedom.

It is because of his refugee status in America, which led to limited welfare access in America.
