Answer: Teenagers by nature have a tendency to be more reckless and allowing them to play dangerous sports is a risk.

Explanation:

After this you need to find some sources to draw off, maybe throw in a statistic about how people in adolescence's brains aren't fully developed yet and can lead to more risktaking. Not sure what your argumentative stand is on this but you need to summarize your points from earlier without saying exactly the same thing.

In the excerpt from chapter 6 of Animal Farm, humans, even though they are sure that the windmill won't ever be successful, have a sense of recognition and respect for what the animals have done, for their hard work and persistence to manage their own affairs, which granted them independence. This recognition of effort regardless of what the results can be is something natural of humans, and that is why the answer is D. They value efficiency and accomplishment.

Use excerpt from the book Mysterious Island by Jules Verne to complete the activity.
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

The theme of this excerpt is the dangerousness of the situation in which Spilett, Pencroff, and Herbert find themselves. This can be determined by the author's use of descriptive language. For example, he says, "To calculate the damage done to the forest by this hurricane would be impossible until the snow had entirely disappeared. The men were in a very uncertain situation for what would be an indefinite period of time. He also says, "There was danger of their falling in themselves," in reference to their traps. Finally, he speaks of claw marks seen in the snow, saying that perhaps these great cats "scented the inhabitants of Granite House." Based on all of these details, it is evident that the three men faced danger all around them.
