How did power disperse among the members of society in ancient times?
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

The correct answer is; based on birth. In ancient times, the emphasis was given on blood line. if the person was born in a wealthy household, he/she would ultimately be subjected to a lot of power.

Explanation:

In ancient times, people hardly ever cared if a person was smart or physically was strong. No matter what capabilities you had people would subject you down to your cast.

The bloodline which you carry meant that you were special or had something to offer which others didn't.

Which of the following statements represents a major consequence of the 1906 Atlanta Race Riot?
mel-nik [20]

Answer:

Segregation within the city of Atlanta increased.

Explanation:

The statement representing a significant consequence of the 1906 Atlanta Race Riot is "Segregation within the city of Atlanta increased."

While there was a form of depression among the African American community in terms of economic development in Atlanta, the Riot incidence led to many African American leaders disproving the accommodation methods proposed by Booker T Washington and embraced the aggressive techniques suggested by the likes of W.E.B Dubois, who wrote "The Litany of Atlanta."

This strong stance and statement led to increased in the level of segregation within the city of Atlanta.

<em>It's definitely B, take my word on it.</em>

here's what I found researching some websites.

"<em><u>These thinkers valued reason, science, religious tolerance, and what they called “natural rights”</u></em>—life, liberty, and property. Enlightenment philosophers John Locke, Charles Montesquieu, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau all developed theories of government in which some or even all the people would govern."

"The Enlightenment was influenced by reason because it was a time of optimism and possibility. People started to study human nature and society. What new views did philosophers have about government? These rulers inspired further rulers, and people began to believe that human reason could solve any problem."

"Montesquieu believed in the separation of power with checks and balances. Checks and balances are put in place to ensure that no one branch of government has too much power."

"Other enlightenment thinkers have influence on the US constitution. Volitaire's ideas are used. Volitaire believed in religious freedom which is practiced in the US today."

mina [271]

I'm not very sure about this, but I do know that Rome was it's own independant country that was influenced heavily by religion. I'm not sure <em>which </em>religion, but they built their own beliefs off of that one.

But don't listen to me, I'm just a teen that reads way too many conspiracy theories.
