How did european countries benefit from the marshall plan

History
1 answer:
Westkost [7]3 years ago
8 0

Answer:

It primarily gave financial aid to war-torn European countries.

Explanation:

The Marshall Plan also helped Europeans prevent starvation and poverty- which would make Europe a breeding ground for communist sentiments. Those who accepted financial aid prospered on their way to capitalist, free market economies. With the incentives of the US, they also created democratic governments. Stalin refused the aid for its soviet satellite states, citing that they would be the ones to provide economic relief. Welp, that never happened- paving the way for unrest and turmoil.

What lessons did America learn from the fall of Rome
prohojiy [21]

Answer:

Architecture. From military structures such as forts and walls (including the spectacular Hadrian's Wall) to engineering feats such as baths and aqueducts, the most obvious impact of the Romans that can still be seen today is their buildings. ... The Romans built in stone, in straight lines and in a grand scale.

Explanation:

The fall of Rome also paved the way for another major part of Europe's history: feudalism. When Rome fell, Europe fell into a state of constant warfare. The new kings not only wanted to tax their populous, but also wanted them to fight during times of war.
