The exchange will only happen if both indivuduals want it, that is, of both of them think it will be profitable to them. In other words, it will only happen if both indivuduals expect to gain from it ("gain' is the best word for the blank").
(Sometimes people are forced to unprofitable exchanges, but this doesn't happen in a free economy)

Kevin works hard as a banker. He makes a good living and has a nice house and car. He believes that everyone should have to pay
stepladder [879]

Answer:

Option C

Explanation:

It is also Structural Functionalism Theory, this theory explains that the society is seen has a frame of an existence pattern, it proves that every part of the frame work, works together.

The deduced statement from  the above question is that kevin believes that if,  one thing does not exist as part of the frame work, the frame cant work, example is his believe on the fact that Everyone should pay for his or her education(This is a frame work), and if it cant be done, the person shouldn't be able to earn a diploma(This is the effect of a part of the frame work not functional). So kevin view on inequality is due to capitalism of Functionalism

What is the importance of the four noble truths and the eight fold path?
Ann [662]
The Four Noble Truths, which include the Eightfold Path, describe the true nature of existence, and the means to live in harmony with that nature.

By tradition, the preaching of the Four Noble Truths was the first sermon given by the Buddha, after he became the Awakened One.

It could be said that The Four Noble Truths, and what they infer, are Buddhism itself. There are many traditions, schools, sects of Buddhism, but the Four Noble Truths are acknowledged in all of them, because they are foundational. They describe why Buddhism is needed, and what constitutes the essence of the practice of Buddhism. There may be various practices and ideas within Buddhism, but they are merely different expressions of the essence as expressed in the Four Noble Truths.

Do you think the Crusades were worthwhile? Why or why not?
Ivenika [448]

Answer:

The entire structure of European society changed during the 12th and 13th centuries, and there was a time when this change was attributed largely to the Crusades. Historians now, however, tend to view the Crusades as only one, albeit significant, factor in Europe’s development. It is likely that the disappearance of old families and the appearance of new ones can be traced in part to the Crusades, but generalizations must be made with caution. It should, moreover, be remembered that, while some Crusaders sold or mortgaged their property, usually to ecclesiastical foundations, others bequeathed it to relatives. The loss of life was without doubt considerable; many Crusaders, however, did return to their homes.

Explanation:

There can be little doubt that the Crusades slowed the advance of Islamic power, although how much is an open question. At the very least, they bought Europe some much-needed time. Without centuries of Crusading effort, it is difficult to see how western Europe could have escaped conquest by Muslim armies, which had already captured the rest of the Mediterranean world.
