Rachel really wants to purchase a new skateboard and her mother has agreed to give her a weekly allowance that she can save unti
l she has $220 (enough to buy the skateboard). Rochelle mother is a math teacher and presents two different plans for paying her weekly allowance Plan 1: a fixed weekly payment of $25
Plan 2: a 120 initial plus payment $10 per week
Part 1: write an equation for each plan explain what information the variables and numbers represents
Part 2: which plan requires number of weeks to save enough money for the kateboard? Explain or show your work
10x+ 150=220 is the equation for the second plan you subtract 150 from 220 to get 70 and divide that by 10 and you get 7 which is the number of weeks it'll take
220/25=x
So for this one it'll take 8.8 weeks to get enough money and you divide 220 by the amount which is 25 to get 8.8 the number of weeks I'll take
I dont understand what the second one is asking so sorry dude but I think that's right
If you are doing any scientific notation to the negative power the answer will be a decimal. In this case you will move the decimal point four places to the left. The answer will be 0.0002077
