Answer: B) HYPOTHESIS

Explanation:

A hypothesis is a provisional affirmation about the connection between two or more variables.

For this example, the problem would be "I am missing the ball". The hypothesis would be that the reason behind me missing the ball is that I am not keeping my eyes on it.

A way to test the hypothesis would be to compare the results with and without keeping sight of the ball. Based on the hypothesis, the prediction would be: If I keep my eyes on the ball, I will not miss it, whereas if I loose sight of the ball I will miss it.

How does cliff collapse affect the environment
Ede4ka [16]
A cliff collapse could affect the environment by exposing new rock (previously covered by the cliff) to the elements, which could result in runoff of a different nature when it rains. Additionally, the cliff would collapse upon whatever life/features existed at the base of the cliff. One of the most drastic effects could be the shaking of the earth. Cliff failures can result in earthquakes or, if the cliff collapses into a large body of water, massive tsunamis which radically impact coastal environments.
