yulyashka [42]
Well we can look at this question and eliminate Rhetorical Question due to the fact the excerpt above isn't asking anything. We can also eliminate an allusion because this is not an allusion it is a dream. We can then eliminate Logo's because it is a Greek word meaning logic. Pathos makes no sense because there is not pity or sadness involved. So the only option left is A)Ethos. I hope this helps

Why are the elements of an autobiographical narrative similar to those of a short story?
Alenkinab [10]
I believe the correct answer is B. Because most writing forms include narratives.

The first and last options aren't correct because an autobiographical narrative depicts real events from the writer's life, whereas a short story is fictional, which means the events and characters aren't real (and it doesn't have to be written in the 1st person).

The third option can be correct, but not in every case. Some of the best short stories don't include causes and effects. Actually, the causal relations are often concealed, and require a specific interpretation to explain them.

However, there is a narrative in both these forms. It means that they have a plot - introduction, climax, resolution (although they don't need to happen in a chronological order).

True or false: If you can remove your first sentence from your paper and the introduction still makes sense, you have a bad hook
ANEK [815]
This isn't neccessarily true. Your introduction can still make sense without the hook, and the information inside the introduction part should really not directly depend on the hook to explain them, they should either be self explanatory, or you should explain them there.
Hopefully this helps!
