Do you mean “the gist” of something? If so, it means the substance or the main point of a statement.

Write a paragraph of a gross moment
GREYUIT [131]

One time at home I was sitting at the counter and lightly kicking the wall (because I was bored,) and got a wooden splinter stuck under my toenail. That's pretty vanilla but as a kid it was the grossest thing that happened to me.

PLEASE HELp ASAP on why u think they should play but not kids under 9! Plz nice sentence
omeli [17]

Answer:

I think they shouldn't because their minds are still developing. If they begin to play violent games at a young age, they will grow to think it is ok to be violent. Since they are young, what they see and hear is what they think is right, and introducing violence into a young mind can cause them to be more violent to others.

NEED HELP 70 POINTS PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Sveta_85 [38]
You have taken me prisoner with all my warriors. I am much grieved, for I expected, if I did not defeat you, to hold out much longer, and give you more trouble before I surrendered. I tried hard to bring you into ambush, but your last general understands Indian fighting. The first one was not so wise. When I saw that I could not beat you by Indian fighting, I determined to rush on you, and fight you face to face. I fought hard. But your guns were well aimed. The bullets flew like birds in the air, and whizzed by our ears like the wind through the trees in the winter. My warriors fell around me; it began to look dismal. I saw my evil day at hand.
