Answer:

He is an honorable man who has never committed a crime until he meets James and invites him into his home.

Explanation:

Mr. Atkinson is a character from the short story "August Heat" written in 1910 by W. F. Harvey. In this story we are introduced to Mr. Atkinson, an honorable and good-looking bricklayer who knows JAmes Clarence, a man who drew a criminal who closely resembles Mr. Atkinson. As the story unfolds, the two men realize that one of them will cause the other to die, but what is very evident is that Mr. Atkinson was a very upright and peaceful man until he met James and let him interfere with his life.

Which is an example of faulty coordination?
Vitek1552 [10]
The sentence that is an example of a faulty coordination is: The guitar is used in a lot of contemporary music, and the instrument probably originated in Spain during the 1500s. What makes this sentence's coordination faulty is that, the first part talks about guitars are used in contemporary music, but on the second clause, the topic became the history of the instrument. There is no coherence in the sentence.

Explanation:

Dear uncle,

I hope you are doing well and that you are healthy! How have you spent your quarantine? While it was a little hard to be in the house and worry about what will happen, I have tried to spend my time in quarantine as best as I could.

I have been reading a lot, and have managed to read five books so far. They are mostly young adult fiction that is concerned with the problems of the modern world, but I read some fantasy books as well. As you know, I have always enjoyed fantasy and now I finally have the time to read it.

I also spent time in the garden, helping my mother with flowers – this was very relaxing and beneficial, as we got to be out in the sun without putting anyone in danger. In the evening, we would often watch movies or play board games as a family. I have even won a few games of monopoly! I tried not to get behind on my studies, and have read textbooks just as teachers advised us. Online classes are a great way to keep up with school work. It’s not always easy to do the work, but I study hard and do all the homework on time.

As mum cooks every day, I learned some of the tricks in the kitchen from her. Now I can make the meal on my own! I learned how to fry an egg, how to bake potatoes, how to prepare meat, and make cookies. These days, I sometimes prepare the meal for the family myself and everyone is enjoying it. Can’t wait to serve you some of my delicious cooking in the future!

The creative work really helps, so I sometimes do art and draw and paint with my sister. As she is younger than me, her art is not that good, but she is learning fast. It is great to be able to show her something new and help her pass the time. I love it so much that I finally spend so much time with the family.

When I want to spend some time alone, I play video games. There are some great ones that are educational as well as fun. I mostly like historical and strategy games where I can build my cities and armies. This made me more interested in history, so I started reading about Greek mythology and history. There is so much fun stuff and I am sure it will help me with the school as well.

As you can see, I try to keep myself organized and occupied, and spend time with others. It helps me a lot when you have someone to have fun with. Who knew there are so many fun hobbies we could pursue without leaving our house?

Maybe my letter gave you some ideas on how to spend your time!

I hope to hear from you soon!

Loads of love,

Your niece/nephew.
