They added a disclaimer at the beginning of the show to warn the public that the broadcast was not real.

Since those listening to the Radio, if caught by surprise, would most likely believe what they were being told. In the end, those who turned in later on and missed the disclaimer ended up believing what they heard anyways, causing an infamous histeria that is talked about until today.

According to "Introduction to Cultural Rebellion: Mid-Twentieth-Century Voices," which statement best reflects one difference be
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

Postwar science fiction authors wrote to warn society of the potential results of its values, while beat generation authors wrote to reject society’s values.

Explanation:

Postwar science fiction stories and books were questioning the thought and culture during the Cold War. Set in dystopia, the authors tried to make people think about the realities of possible threats and dangers of a society.

The beat generation of the postwar era had nothing to do with preservation or quest of the societal values. They were rather interested in vices such as sexual liberation, psychedelic drugs and spiritual quest therefore the authors were rejecting values.

How to persuade your teacher to not give you homework on weekends by using logos ethos pathos
Kazeer [188]

Using ethos:

Studies show that homework is bad for kids' health. https://www.healthline.com/health-news/children-more-homework-means-more-stress-031114#1

Using pathos:

Homework takes away from the time I have in my childhood. Your childhood is the best part of your life and no kid wants to miss that because of homework.

Using logos:

If you don't give us homework, we have more energy to do schoolwork, and we get better grades, making everyone happy.

Explanation:

Ethos appeals to credibility. (Remember it by the word "Ethics")

Pathos appeals to emotion. (Remember it by the word "Pathological")

Logos appeals to logic. (Remember by the word "Logic," hence the definition.)

Hope this answers your question. :)
