Diego Rivera’s paintings celebrated Mexico’s history ad people.

Explanation:

Diego Rivera was a famous Mexican painter whose frescoes started the Mural movement in Mexican art. Rivera had participated in the Revolutionary Union of Technical workers in 1922 and joined the Mexican Communist Party. His famous murals reflected the Mexican society and the 1910 revolution.

Using bold figures and simplified colors was Rivera’s style. All his mural paintings were in fresco alone. All his paintings told stories of revolution and Mexican society of that period. His mural ‘fertile land’ depicts the peasant and working class people of Mexico by demonstrating their revolutionary struggles.

How did the Middle East change as a result of World War I?
Luden [163]
The losses in the Middle East were staggering: the war not only ravaged the land and decimated armies, it destroyed whole societies and economies. In this way, the experience of World War I in the Middle East is perhaps more akin to the experience of World War II in Europe.
