Answer:

<em>x = 13 deg</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

As shown in the picture, you have:

CF and CD are perpendicular

=> angle BCF = 90 deg

=> angle BCE + angle ECF = angle BCF = 90 deg

or angle BCE + 64 = 90

=> angle BCE = 90 - 64 = 26 deg

Point A, B, and C are collinear

=> (angle ABE) + angle CBE = 180 deg  (1)

Otherwise, as the property of the sum of 3 angles in a triangle:

(angle BEC + angle BCE) + angle CBE = 180 deg  (2)

From (1) and (2) you would have:

angle ABE = angle BEC + angle BCE

or

3x = 26 + x

<=> 3x -  x = 26

<=> 2x = 26

<=> x = 26/2

<=> x = 13

=> angle BEC = x = 13 deg

=> angle ABE = 3x = 3(13) = 39 deg

Hope this helps!

Gwar [14]

Answer with explanation:

Amount charged by Home Improvement Store for first day=$ 45

Amount charged per day after first day = $ 22

y= Total cost

x=Number of days Rented

Writing the above statement in terms of function

→y=1×$45 +(x-1)×$22

→→Total amount charged(y)=45+22x-22

→→→y=22x+23

is, the required function.

Hometown Grocery, Inc. has 50 comma 000 shares of common stock outstanding and 4 comma 000 shares of preferred stock outstandin
Anit [1.1K]

Answer:

$0.36 per share

Step-by-step explanation:

The data provided in the question are as follows

Common stock outstanding = 50,000 shares

Preferred stock outstanding = 4,000 shares

Par value of common stock = $4

Interest rate and par value of preferred stock = 9% and $100

Total dividend payment declared = $54,000

So, the amount of dividend for each share of common stock is

= (Total dividend payment declared - Preferred stock outstanding × interest rate × par value) ÷ (common stock outstanding)

= ($54,000 - 4,000 × $100 × 9%) ÷ (50,000 shares)

= ($54,000 - $36,000) ÷ (50,000 shares)

= $18,000 ÷ 50,000 shares

= $0.36 per share
