What is the protagonist main motivation for the way he or she acts.
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

This question is incomplete since you have not provided a specific text, but anyway I will give you an answer that will be useful.

Explanation:

The motivation of a character is one of the fundamental elements when writing a story. Motivation is always relevant, but especially when it comes to the protagonist.

Motivation is what is behind every action that your protagonist undertakes. And its importance lies in the fact that it helps the reader understand why the character does what he does.

Without motivation, any narrative, be it a novel or a story, would be no more than the more or less attractive description of some facts.

ElenaW [278]

Answer:

Zeitoun spots fish swimming in the flood waters

Explanation:

The excerpt above is from "an account of Hurricane Katrina" by Dave Eggers. In the excerpt, Dave Eggers described the experience of the hurricane compared to that of the apocalypse, therefore, comparing the event to the total and great destruction that was recorded in the Bible in the book of Revelation will prevail over the earth at the end of the world as recorded in the account of John, in Revelation. The hurricane was so terrible and deadly that animals that are unable to fly were washed away by the flood, including even the fishes inside the water were not speared and also affected with the hurricane.
