"George Washington" was a commander and chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War (1775-83). He served two terms as the first U.S. president, from 1789 to 1797, during the American Revolution. He led the colonial forces to victory over the British and became a national hero.

He introduced the crop rotation concept,  bred the first mules in America, using the King of Spain's donkeys to breed with his own horses. He made it possible for the United States to survive and grow.
