Answer:

3) Miss Maudie invites the Robinson family to her house.

4) Mr. Underwood writes an editorial criticizing the verdict.

Explanation:

In the book we learn that most people in Maycomb are not sympathetic to the plight of Tom Robinson. This is particularly evident when we learn about the jury and their verdict. However, there are a few exceptions that show that not everyone in the town feels the same way. One of these instances is the fact that Miss Maudie invites the Robinson family to her house. Another example is the editorial that Mr. Underwood writes criticizing the verdict.

nata0808 [166]

Answer:

Dante was an Italian poet and philosopher in the Medieval period.

Explanation:

The most famous works of Dante Alighieri was "The Divine comedy". It made a remarkable impression in literature and theology.

Dante Alighieri was born in '1265' to a family who was involved in the complex Florentine political scene. His mother died in his early childhood.

His marriage was arranged with a family friend, Gemma Donati when he was only tweleve years old. But Dante loved Beatrice Portinari. She had a great influence on his life. She is the backbone of his famous work “Divine Comedy”. Beatrice was a love at first sight for Dante when he was nine years old, but his love was never reciprocated by her. She died in 1290 unexpectedly. She was a major inspiration of major works by Dante.

By 1295, he got completely involved in political causes. He was elected to the City Council and was a member of Guelph political party. Florence had two major political parties at that time: Guelphs and Ghibellines.

ss7ja [257]

Answer:

The tiger, a symbol of fearless power, is angry and agonizing because of his confinement, and would much rather be free in the wild. The beast has been turned into a docile creature to the amusement of humans, and the tone in Norris´ poem indicates that it´s a sad situation that should not happen.

Explanation:

"A Tiger in the Zoo" is a poem by George Leslie Norris (1921-2006). Based on his work, Norris would most likely agree that animals have the right to freedom and should not be caged, because his description of a caged tiger reveals his feelings about the matter. All animals have the right to be free, especially when their confinement is only aimed at entertainment in disregard of animals' rights.
