Answer:

Energy comes to the earth surface in the form of sunlight. When the sunlight strikes the earth surface, some energy is absorbed by the earth through vegetation in the process of photosynthesis, while more are reflected back into the space but these light radiation trapped by greenhouse gases such as carbondioxide, methane and nitrous oxide etc which increases the temperature and causes global warming which changes our climate.

8090 [49]

As photosynthesis is a process that requires sunlight, the rate of this process will be 0 in a room without any light.

However, even if the dark room has very little light, it may still not be enough for photosynthesis to occur. This process requires certain levels of sunlight.

motikmotik

Answer:

The correct answer will be option-D

Explanation:

The process of photosynthesis release oxygen from the plant which is used by the organism on earth during cellular respiration.

The oxygen released by the plants is formed through the splitting of water molecules as a result of the transfer of electrons through the electron transport chain in the thylakoid membrane during the light-dependent reaction.

Since the released oxygen is the result of the light-dependent reaction and not the light-independent reaction or Calvin cycle where heavy oxygen isotope is utilized in the cycle.

Thus, option-D is the correct answer.

What biological process accounts for the oxygen algae produce
Ivan

Answer:

The ocean produces oxygen through the plants (phytoplankton, kelp, and algal plankton) that live in it. These plants produce oxygen as a byproduct of photosynthesis, a process which converts carbon dioxide and sunlight into sugars the organism can use for energy.
