The statement that is true about free verse is, option C. It can be either rhymed or unrhymed. Free verse does not follow any regular rhythm, a regular rhyme or even a specific meter. In other words, free verse contains no limitations.

THERE U GO LITTLE BUDDY

Langston Hughes's stories deal with and serve as a commentary of conditions befalling African Americans during the Depression Era. As Ostrom explains, "To a great degree, his stories speak for those who are disenfranchised, cheated, abused, or ignored because of race or class." (51) Hughes's stories speak of the downtrodden African-Americans neglected and overlooked by a prejudiced society. The recurring theme of powerlessness leads to violence is exemplified by the actions of Sargeant in "On the Road", old man Oyster in "Gumption", and the robber in "Why, You Reckon?" Hughes's "On the Road" explores what happens when a powerless individual takes action on behalf of his conditions. The short story illustrates the desperation and consequent violent actions of one man's homeless plight on a snowy winter evening. "He stopped and stood on the sidewalk hunched over- hungry, sleepy, and cold- looking up and down." (Hughes 90) Here, Sargeant is without the basic necessities of life- shelter and food. Sargeant, hopeless and starving, wanders the lonesome streets and happens upon a church. However, the reverend of the church denies Sargeant access. Mullen explains further- "And in "On the Road" an unemployed black man, given a quick brush-off by a high-toned preacher, breaks into a church" (81) When the Reverend refuses to house him, Sargeant's desperation and powerlessness leads him to commit a rash action- tear down the church door to a street of on-lookers. Shortly after, Police come to take Sargeant away and put him behind bars, where he reminisces on his actions. Had Sargeant simply had the basic means of survival, food and shelter, he would not have had done out of desperation. In other words, Sageant's lack of security- food, shelter, and warmth, lead him to take violent actions in attempt to obtain it. The short story "Gumption" underlines the rash actions that can be taken by powerless individuals.

Healthcare is a basic need for all humans, which is why the government and health-care officials should make it a priority to guarantee that everyone has the right to free healthcare, regardless of various boundaries. Some examples of being denied this right are gender, income, and age which make it difficult to access for many around the world. It should be every nation's goal to make sure that people do not have to worry about those parameters and get the care they deserve.

From 1948, the NHS, or National health Service has provided healthcare to the British public. While it is not technically without fees, because the money spent is taken from the public, it is free at the point of being delivered. Now, over half of the countries over the WORLD provide a sense of free, universal healthcare, but with one exception: The US. But they haven't changed the system, which leaves us with the biggest question of all: Does paying for healthcare provide a greater service or should all healthcare be free?

The irony is, that the origins of free healthcare is right in the US! Health care was listed in the Second Bill of Rights drafted by Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Sadly, FDR’s death kept this Second Bill of Rights from being implemented. But Eleanor Roosevelt, took his work to the United Nations), where it was expanded.

The US already provides free public education, public road maintenance, public law enforcement, and many other public services to its citizens to promote a just society. Why should healthcare be considered an "advantage" to have in some countries and a "right" to have in others? In order to "provide" to the public, and be a "fully-participating citizen" free healthcare should be a right to all, and not simply leave families struggling to pay off the high cost of quality treatment.

In conclusion, healthcare is a basic human necessity, right, and the public should be able to access this without thinking of it as an "advantage".
