Write a descriptive essay about your locality
ad-work [718]

Answer:

I looked throught the wide windows of my house to see the beautiful scenery surrounding the neighbourhood. It was autumn and the tall trees began to shed their leaves, leaving a flurry of fiery red and oranges flying in the air.

The pretty houses were arranged in an orderly manner, almost looking like a perfect street in a story. The houses were painted in bright colours, and the gardens were filled with a variety of delicate and exotic flowers.

Cars raced on the road and the tires crumpled the leaves beneath it, causing them to crunch. A trail of smoke left the engines on the speedy cars and danced into the clear, blue endless sky.

Which of the following sentence contains an oxymoron?
zubka84 [21]
The correct option for this question is:

A. “Take a big sip of this lemonade,” Jacobs grandmother cried out.

An oxymoron is a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear together. In this case "big sip" is the combination, since usually a sip is small, so a big sip sounds like something contradictory.
