You have five pieces of wood. what is the total length of the wood? 73cm + 1.6m + 2.87m+325cm+4.04m
PSYCHO15rus [73]

Answer

Find out the what is the total length of the wood .

To prove

As given in the question the length of the five pieces of wood are

73 cm+ 1.6m + 2.87m + 325cm + 4.04m

As 1m = 100cm

    1 cm = 0.01m

73 cm is converted into meter = 73 × 0.01

                                                  = 0.73 m

325cm is converted into meter = 325 × 0.01 m

                                                  = 3.25 m

Total length of the length of wood = 0.73m + 1.6m + 2.87m + 3.25m + 4.04m

simply adding the above terms

Total length of the length of wood = 12.49 m

Therefore the total length of the wood is 12 .49 m .

Answer:

Given:

  • DC ║ AB
  • CM = MB as M is midpoint of BC

i) Since DN and BC are transversals, we have:

  • ∠DCM ≅ ∠NBM and
  • ∠CDM ≅ ∠BNM as alternate interior angles

As two angles and one side is congruent, the triangles are also congruent:

  • ΔDCM ≅ ΔNBM (according to AAC postulate)

So their areas are same.

ii)

The quadrilateral has area of:

  • A(ADCB) = A(ADMB) + A(DCM)

And the triangle has area of:

  • A(ADN) = A(ADMB) + A(NBM)

Since the areas of triangles DCM and NBM are same, the quadrilateral ADCB has same area as triangle ADN.
