Read the passage. From John F. Kennedy’s Inaugural Address And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you

—ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man. Finally, whether you are citizens of America or citizens of the world, ask of us here the same high standards of strength and sacrifice which we ask of you. With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God’s work must truly be our own. What challenge does Kennedy issue? for people to stop asking America to solve the world’s problems for people to work to solve the country’s and the world’s problems for people to think about what is troubling their consciences for others to demonstrate high standards of strength and sacrifice

Answer:

for people to work to solve the country’s and the world’s problems

Explanation:

By reading the passage we can say that Kennedy is calling Americans and non-americans to action, he wants them to take responsibility of the gobal problems and contribute to their solutions. He infers that the American government by his own is not capable of achieving anything, it needs the help of it's citizens. The use of the word citizens is deliberate, it implies a person that has not just some rights granted but also responsibilities. Rights are not things that can be wanted for just a few, they need to be guaranteed worldwide, it's the citizens of the world task to fight for that.
