You can picture this as a right angle triangle, with the string being the hypotenuse.

You are given the height of the triangle (36 feet), which is also the length of the perpendicular side that is opposite the 58 degree angle. Since you have the opposite side and want to find the hypotenuse's length, you have to use the trigonometric ratio of sin

sin 58 = opposite/hypotenuse
sin 58 = 36/hypotenuse
Hypotenuse = 36/sin 58
Just punch those numbers into your calculator and you should get an answer of around 42.5 feet

Hope I helped!! xx

Tema [17]
Lets write each part, the total will be x:
(1/10)x = Europe
3200 = Asia
x - (1/10)x - 3200 = Africa

Europe + Asia = (1/10)x + 3200 = x/10 + 3200
= (320x + 1)/3200
that would be expressed as a fraction, and depends on the total of coins, x

Explanation how solve step by step 2/7m-1/7=3/14
Drupady [299]

Answer:

m = 25/28

Step-by-step explanation:

It's best to enclose fractional coefficients inside parentheses to eliminate ambiquity: 2/7m-1/7=3/14 => (2/7(m - (1/7) = (3/14).

The LCD is 14; each of the denominators {7, 14} divides evenly into 14. Hence our equation becomes

(4)(m - 1/7) = 3

... after multiplying every term by 14.

Let's multiply each side by 7 to eliminate the remaining fraction:

4(7m - 1) = 21, or

28m - 4 = 21, or

28m = 25.

Hence, m = 25/28.

Solve the equation
8(4- x) = 7x + 2
x=
Jet001 [13]

Answer: x=2

Step-by-step explanation:

Expand.

32−8x=7x+2

Add 8x to both sides.

32=7x+2+8x

Simplify 7x+2+8x7x+2+8x to 15x+215x+2.

32=15x+2

Subtract 22 from both sides.

32−2=15x

Simplify 32−2 to 30.

30=15x

Divide both sides by 15.

30/15=x

Simplify 30/15 to 2

2=x

Switch sides.

x=2

The diagram below shows several parking spots near the grocery store, formed with three parallel line segments and a transversal
Marina CMI [18]
Something I noticed about angle 4, is that it shares a straight line with angle 3. (above it is a straight line)

A straight line equals 180 degrees.

So, angle 4 + angle 3= 180 degrees.

Angle 3 is congruent to angle 7.

180-132= Angle 7

180-132= 48

48 degrees is your answer.

I hope this helps!
