Answer with Explanation:

A "world city" is also known as a<em> "global city"</em> or a <em>"power city."</em> These are the cities where most people flock, thus, they foster economic growth around the world.

Firstly, world cities influence decision-making through its vast number of highly-intelligent and highly-skilled individuals. The global population inhabits mostly the world cities, thus it becomes common to see world leaders arising from these areas. The skilled researchers, for example, influence decision-making by bringing about scientific discoveries that are essential towards future economic growth.

Secondly, world cities have the cultural and national authority. This means that they can control global issues and solve it through its power. These cities also have the ability to attract many people and businessmen around the world, in order to further their urban development. In this way, they are also influential in decision-making.

Examples of world cities: <u>Tokyo, New York, Rome, Paris, Dubai and Barcelona.</u>
