Basalt

Formation -basalt is (mineral) a hard igneous rock of varied mineral content formed when lava reaches the Earth's surface near an active volcano

Texture- is fine grained so the individual minerals are not visible

Colour- basalt being dark

Rhyolite

Formation -Rhyolite is a very fine-grained to glassy extrusive igneous rock. Formed in continental plates have volcanic eruptions.

 Texture- very small than grains and are difficult to observe without using a hand lens.

Colour- light in colour whether pink or grey

Andesite

Formation- Andesite is a fine-grained igneous rock that forms when the magma is rises up onto the surface and crystallized quickly

Texture- higher than basalt and lower than rhyolite

Colour -- color is pale due to silica content
