You could seek cover, or wear protective gear. Foresay: a helment, knee pads, elbow pads, etc.

Doing these things will keep you safe when your in a bad situation.

Putting protective gear, seeking cover will keep you safe from getting badly hurt. Which in most cases can prevent you from getting hurt, not putting anything on can make it eady for you to get hurt.

Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

10 times; 2 times.

Explanation:

A seismograph can be defined as an instrument that is used for monitoring, detecting and recording the direction, duration and magnitude (intensity) of an earthquake in a particular geographical location. Also, a seismogram is the graphical representation of the parameters or quantities such as wave amplitude measured by seismograph.

In this scenario, Ramon knew that the wave amplitude on a seismogram measures how severe an earthquake is. In a magnitude 8 earthquake, the waves are ten (10) times larger than a magnitude 7 earthquake. However, the energy released is two (2) times greater.

How does subsidence at a hurricane's periphery make surface air relatively dry?
Serhud [2]
<span>Subsidence at the periphery of a hurricane dries the air because it speeds evaporation. In other words, this phenomenon causes the moisture to be removed from the air at a more rapid rate than usual, leaving the air very dry. Subsidence can also occur at the eye of a hurricane! !

What effect does an ocean have on the climate of the nearby landmass?
RUDIKE [14]
Ocean currents act much like a conveyor belts, transporting warm water and precipitation from the equator toward the poles and cold water from the poles back to the tropics. Thus, currents regulate global climate, helping to counteract the uneven distribution of solar radiation reaching Earth's surface.

Describe the multi-layered physical/vertical structure of California kelp forests, either in general or in one part of the state
____ [38]
The architecture of a kelp forest depends on its physical structure, which influences the species that occupy the forests. Kelp forests usually include three types of kelp and two types of algae:

1. Prostrate kelps lie near and along the sea floor and form the lowest level of kelps

2. Stipitate kelps are above the prostrate kelps upto a few meters above the seafloor.

3. The Canopy kelps include the largest species of kelp and often extends to the top of the ocean surface.

4. Coralline algae directly and often extensively cover geologic substrate i.e the sea floor.

5. The benthic assemblage is composed of other algal species.
