A controlled experiment is simply an experiment in which all factors are held constant except for one: the independent variable. A common type of controlled experiment compares a control group against an experimental group. All variables are identical between the two groups except the factor being tested.

hope this helps :)

if not comment and ill give you something different

Answer:

In a controlled experiment, an independent variable (the cause) is systematically manipulated and the dependent variable (the effect) is measured; any extraneous variables are controlled. The researcher can operationalize (i.e. define) the variables being studied so they can be objectivity measured.

I hope this helps :)

What will happen to a blood cell that is placed in a solution with a greater concentration of solutes?

6.The original Listerine formula contains 26.9% alcohol (v/v). How many liters of Listerine can be prepared from 4.5 L of pure a
Burka [1]

Answer:

Amount of Listerine can be prepared = 16.73 (Approx)

Explanation:

Given:

Listerine formula contains = 26.9% alcohol

Amount of alcohol = 4.5 L

Find:

Amount of Listerine can be prepared

Computation:

Amount of Listerine can be prepared = (Amount of alcohol) / (Listerine formula contains)

Amount of Listerine can be prepared = 4.5 / 26.9%

Amount of Listerine can be prepared = 16.73 (Approx)

How can a spectrograph experiment help identify a particular metal ion?
m_a_m_a [10]
thats weird im doin the same lab right now well idk this is wat i wrote
The way electron light is emitted from metal salts is when an element is heated, the electrons will be excited. Then as these electrons fall back from one energy level to another, they will emit photons of light. Those photons will have different colors depending on the elements and its discrete energy levels. The way a spectrographic experiment can help identify a particular metal ion is because this device separates light into different wavelengths and gives you their measurements. With this it is easier to classify to line emission spectra.
