How would you form a superlative for the adverb widely

English
1 answer:
Viktor [21]3 years ago
6 0
I find it easier to start with comparative:

+er: widelier  (y turns into i for spelling reasons)

and now superlative :

+est: wideliest (y again turns into i for spelling reasons)

it's a rare word, i admit I don't see it too often.

Tju [1.3M]

Former President Barack Obama on Friday launched a direct and blistering attack on President Donald Trump and Republicans and called on Americans to get to the ballot box in November to "restore some semblance of sanity to our politics."

At one point referencing the "crazy stuff coming out of this White House," Obama told students and others gathered at the University of Illinois at Urban-Campaign that even if they don't agree with Democrats on certain issues, they should still want to see a "restoration of honesty and decency and lawfulness in government."

In the poem "I Will Pronounce Your Name" the speaker uses sensory description to appeal to all of the following senses except
taurus [48]

Answer:

Letter D is the correct answer.

Explanation:

I Will Pronounce Your Name is a poem written by Léopold Sédhar Senghor, a Senegalese poet and politician. From all the options provided, touch is the only sensory description that is not appealed to in all the poem. Smell is appealed to by mentioning cinnamon; sight is mentioned by describing the savannah, while hearing is also part of the poem when the speaker mentions a silent day.
