Sorry if this isn't clear It's a ratio question. Henry does 3 hrs for every one of Samuel's 2hrs, the ratio is 3:2 The total number of parts is 5 and to work out one part, divide 20 by 5 =4 So if Henry does 3hrs for Sam's 2hrs, he does 4 x 3 to get his part of the total 20hrs 4 x 3 = 12 And Sam does 2hrs, he does 4 x 2 = 8 So Henry does 12hrs a month

leonard is flying kite he is holding the end of the string at distance of 1.2 m above the ground. if the string is 15 m how long
larisa86 [58]

Answer:

The kite is 10.8 m above the ground.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we can make a triangle rectangle like the one shown in the graph below, where we want to find the value of the cathetus X, and that plus 1.2m will be the distance between the kite and the ground.

Notice that X is the opposite cathetus to the 40° angle, then:

We can use the relation:

Sin(θ) = (opposite cathetus)/(hypotenuse)

where, in our case, we have:

θ = 40°

hypotenuse = 15m

opposite cathetus = X

Replacing these in the equation, we get:

Sin(40°) = X/15m

Now we can solve this for X.

Sin(40°)*15m = X = 9.6m

And the actual height of the kite is X + 1.2m

Then:

H = 9.6m + 1.2m = 10.8m

The kite is 10.8 m above the ground.

A ′ B ′ C ′ triangle, A, prime, B, prime, C, prime is the image of △ A B C △ABCtriangle, A, B, C under a rotation about the orig
erma4kov [3.2K]

The angle of rotation of triangle ABC to A'B'C is 105°

<h3>How to illustrate the information?</h3>

It should be noted that the rotation from ABC to A'B'C is in a clockwise direction.

Point B is also on the x axis and point B' is in the second quadrant.

In this case, the angle that depicts the second quadrant is 105°.

In conclusion, the correct option is D.

The complete question is:

Triangle A’ B’ C’ is the image of A B C under a rotation about the origin, (0,0)

Determine the angle of rotation

A. -105 degrees

B. -75 degrees

C. 75 degrees

D. 105 degrees
