After world war ii the Australian government supported the development "of multiculturalism".

From the historical point of view, Australia did not acknowledge all people, and clung to the White Australia Policy. The strategy was altered after World War II by different changes to migration approach. For this very reason, a immigration program was presented. This immigration program permitted individuals from European nations and England to relocate and settle in Australia.
