My best guess is A. Most peasants were also serfs. I just took the test :P

"<span>c. Serfs worked in the manor house, and peasants worked on the land" would be the best option from the list. Although in general the serfs were considered to have a better condition of living, they were still not well-off relative to the nobles. </span>

I think the underlying cause was, the towns people didnt know why all the women where acting strangely (almost as if they were possessed) so they went to the one thing they trusted in most which was Religion and they assumed that the women were possessed and were Witches.

It would have been easy since there were no documents (I think) and most evidence was hear say.

If it was outside a house:

Where do you remember going when you lost it? Maybe check the lost and found in your community (most likely at a police station or a school) If it was lost in a school, ask a teacher or a principal to help look for it. Maybe a person who was cleaning found it and placed it somewhere.
