Animal farm is a dystopian story. I have just recently read the book myself.
In richard connell's the most dangerous game, there are several words that are not commonly heard in day to day conversation, here are some of the words and it's correct meaning :
Placid : Calm
Doggedly : With determination
Zealous : Extremely Passionate
Scruples : Morals
An example of a simile is the following:
"The tree was as thin as a hound dog."
As in the sentence above, a simile is a figure of speech which compares two different things, in order to make the description more intense or forceful. Another example could be:
"The man is as tall as a giraffe."
The apothecary gives Romeo a poison that he requested, because he thought Juliet was dead.
