Well, lets say if my dad went to work and he had to deliver 30 sheets of drywall to a location and they have to get them inside on the 4th floor. Well, he sure wouldn't want to carry all 30 sheets 2 by 2 at a time up the stairs put them down and then go pack to the boomtruck. They have the booms for a reason and that is so that they don't have to keep running back to the truck, they can just lift 3 or 4 at a time and just stay up in the building on the 4th floor while my dad operates the boom (crane).
