When Alexander inherited his father’s kingdom, Alexander the Great?

History

Alexander the Great inherited the throne from his father when he was only 20 years old, during 336 BC.

At the time of inheritance, Alexander's father did not leave him with an extensive Empire. However, he was eventually able to develop one of the largest Empire's in history, that stretched from modern-day Pakistan to Greece.

My historians consider him one of the greatest military generals of all time. Eventually, after his young death, his Empire disintegrated as civil war took over.

Why did Major Pitcairn have an advance scouting party march toward Concord?
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer: To capture American scouts

Explanation:

In the first moments of the American Civil War, Colonel Francis Smith of the British army was ordered to go to Concord and destroy the American arsenal there. He sent Major Pitcairn to go ahead of him to secure Concord's bridges.

Major Pitcairn in turn sent an advance scouting party that moved as silently as possible and hid at the sight of anything suspicious. This enabled them to capture 3 scouts that had been sent to be on the lookout for them.
