The play isn't split into episodes or acts originally and I've only read the original Greek. Anyway, she killed herself because she could bear the burden of what she had done. She had slept with her own son, who also murdered her husband/his father. Also, she had given birth to Oedipus' children. So she then realized her children were the product of incest. She killed herself because she loved both her son and husband dearly and could not bear to face the fact that the prophecy turned out to be true

Sedbober [7]

Answer:

Dream

Explanation:

The "it" in the line above, is referring to the dream the writer had. Although it had been quite a long time since he had the dream, and he had even nearly forgotten, but still, the dream was right in front of him, shinning bright like a sun. A wall then rose up between the writer, and his dream.

The speaker is recalling a dream he had a long time ago, one that he had nearly forgotten, but at that might, he could see it ahead of him once more.

Anika [276]

Answer:

Sample Response: The characters felt panic and fear, and the first-person point of view helps readers feel what that was like. Seeing things through the eyes of the first-person narrator helps you feel what it was like not to know how to deal with or stop the spread of yellow fever.

If you have to convince your reader global warming isnt real. Try looking up statistics and factual info that can help prove your point. Make it as convincing as possible by including your beliefs on why it may be a false matter and describe what makes global warming a misunderstood topic by pointing out common misconceptions.
