Answer:

Area =25+6 =31m^2

Perimeter =30m^2  or 29.72m^2 to 2dp.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can show perimeter to match the 1/3 less rule in 10% values when the shape cuts into the square by 1/10th in total.  = 10/100 -1/3

Area of Whole shape = 35 cm (as we 7x5)  -1/3 of 1 x 4 = 033 x 4 =1.32 = 33.78sq^2

But minus 1/3 of 1 = 0.33 so we multiply this by 4 sides = 4 x 0.33 = 1.32 which still rounds as 1 and we find area

But because there are 2 changes on each shape we need to refresh 1.32 x 4 again = 5.28  = 29.72

So that area of 35 -5.28 = 29.72. =30m^2

Area of shaded region =Area of square- [Area of rect 1 + Area of rect 2+3]  Percentage = 5x 5 = 25 (r2+3 = 3x 1 x2) = 6

Area =25+6 =31m^2

Area Prove = un-shaded = 1 x 0.75 x 4 = 3

31/3 = 10 1/3 % un-shaded = 10.33% un-shaded.

Which proves the 10 2/3 value has been proved through a higher 10.66 perimeter value 10.66p = 10% -2/3

This represents the 2/3 curve

It also represents the way perimeter can represent area in ratio for un-shaded to shaded areas.  In this case it was 1 1/3 : 10

This is because if we wanted to add the total areas we would have 31m^2 +3m^2 which makes 34m^2

if we didn't round up initially then we would have had 30.72.+ 3 = 33.72m^2 for the entire shape area = 34m^2 shaded and un-shaded.

So in theory show 30.72m^2= Area for inner section shaped like a plus sign.

3m^2 = Area for unshaded squares combined

3 ÷ 4  = 0.75m^2= Area for each un-shaded corner.

added together = 3 + 30.78 = 33.78 = 34m^2 as once found.

Express the given integral as the limit of a riemann sum but do not evaluate: the integral from 0 to 3 of the quantity x cubed m
WARRIOR [948]
We will use the right Riemann sum. We can break this integral in two parts.
\int_{0}^{3} (x^3-6x) dx=\int_{0}^{3} x^3 dx-6\int_{0}^{3} x dx
We take the interval and we divide it n times:
\Delta x=\frac{b-a}{n}=\frac{3}{n}
The area of the i-th rectangle in the right Riemann sum is:
A_i=\Delta xf(a+i\Delta x)=\Delta x f(i\Delta x)
For the first part of our integral we have:
A_i=\Delta x(i\Delta x)^3=(\Delta x)^4 i^3
For the second part we have:
A_i=-6\Delta x(i\Delta x)=-6(\Delta x)^2i
We can now put it all together:
\sum_{i=1}^{i=n} [(\Delta x)^4 i^3-6(\Delta x)^2i]\\\sum_{i=1}^{i=n}[ (\frac{3}{n})^4 i^3-6(\frac{3}{n})^2i]\\
\sum_{i=1}^{i=n}(\frac{3}{n})^2i[(\frac{3}{n})^2 i^2-6]
We can also write n-th partial sum:
S_n=(\frac{3}{n})^4\cdot \frac{(n^2+n)^2}{4} -6(\frac{3}{n})^2\cdot \frac{n^2+n}{2}

Mr. Taylor collected apples on Friday. On Saturday he collected 2/3 of the amount collected on Friday. How many bushels of apple
VARVARA [1.3K]
There is not enough information because it really depends on how many apples there are in all. You must include how many apple Mr.Taylor collected on Friday.
