Critical points occur when the derivative of a function is equal to zero. If a minimum is to occur at x=2, the derivative at that point must be equal to zero. That is;
df(2) = 0
where df is simply the derivative of f(x) (sorry I'm on my phone and it doesn't have the proper notation).

What happens along a divergent boundary?
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

A divergent boundary occurs when two tectonic plates move away from each other. Along these boundaries, earthquakes are common and magma (molten rock) rises from the Earth's mantle to the surface, solidifying to create a new oceanic crust. When two plates come together, it is known as a convergent boundary.
