Patty and Rod have been married for sixteen years. They go to movies together from time to time and share some of the household

responsibilities, but they both have friends and interests outside of their marriage. Rod likes to see movies and visit museums while Patty goes antiquing with her friends on the weekends. This is a health relationship because each person doesn't feel bound to the other they can still establish their own independence.
