I looked at it as a whole figure which is easier. You could also look at each piece in which the rectangle is 3×2=6, the top triangles which are 1/2×3×3/2 × 2(two triangles) = 4.5, and the bottom triangles which are 1/2*2*1*2(two triangles) = 2. Then add them all. 6+4.5+2 = 12.5.

I believe the area is 30m.

Reflect quadrilateral CJKM across the y-axis. Find the location of K'.
Montano1993 [528]

K(1,4)\rightarrow K^{\prime}(-1,4)

Explanation

Step 1

find the coordinate of every point of the quadrilateral

C(-3,1)

J(0,1)

K(1,4)

M(4,-2)

Step 2

When you reflect a point across the y-axis, the y-coordinate remains the same, but the x-coordinate is transformed into its opposite (its sign is changed).

so

(x,y)\rightarrow reflect\text{ across y -Ax is}\rightarrow(-x,y)

therefore

\begin{gathered} C\mleft(-3,1\mright)\rightarrow C^{\prime}(3,1) \\ J\mleft(0,1\mright)\rightarrow J^{\prime}(0,1) \\ K\mleft(1,4\mright)\rightarrow K^{\prime}(-1,4) \\ M(4,-2)\rightarrow M^{\prime}(-4,-2) \end{gathered}

so, the answer is

K^{\prime}(-1,4)

i hope this helps you

Dan bought 8 shirts and 3 pants. Devonte bought 12 shirts and 5 pants. For each person, write a ratio to represent the number of
shutvik [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Dan bought 8 shirts and 3 pants. This means that the ratio representing the number of shirts to the number of pants that Dan bought is 8/3 = 2.67

Devonte bought 12 shirts and 5 pants. This means that the ratio representing the number of shirts to the number of pants that Devonte bought is 12/5 = 2.4

Therefore, they are not equivalent ratios because the relationship is not exactly the same.

Hep me simplify this, please!!
Elis [28]
Divide the exponent inside the "√" by the exponent outside:
12/4=3, 16/4=4
so the answer is x³y^4
B is the answer.

For some transformation having kinetics that obey the Avrami equation (Equation 10.17), the parameter n is known to have a value
Nikolay [14]

Given Information:

constant = n = 1.7

transformation time 50% completion = t₅₀ = 100 s

Required Information:

transformation time 99% completion = t₉₀ = ?

Answer:

transformation time 99% completion = t_{90}  = 202.75 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

The Avrami equation is used to model the transformation of solids that is from one phase to another provided that temperature is constant.

The equation is given by

y=1 - e^{{-kt}^{n}}

Where t is the transformation time in seconds and n, k are constants.

Let us first find the constant k, since after 100 s transformation is 50% complete,

0.50=1 - e^{{-k*100}^{1.7}}

0.50 - 1= - e^{{-k*100}^{1.7}}

-0.50= - e^{{-k*100}^{1.7}}

0.50 = e^{{-k*100}^{1.7}}

Take ln on both sides,

ln(0.50) = ln(e^{{-k*100}^{1.7}})

-0.693 = -k*100}^{1.7}

0.693 = k*100}^{1.7}

k = 0.693/100}^{1.7}

k = 2.759*10^{-4}

Now we can find out the time when the transformation is 99% complete.

0.90=1 - e^{{-kt}^{n}}

0.90 - 1= - e^{{-k*t}^{n}}

-0.10= - e^{{-kt}^{n}}

0.10 = e^{{-kt}^{n}}

Take ln on both sides,

ln(0.10) = ln(e^{{-k*t}^{n}})

-2.303 = -kt}^{n}

\frac{2.303}{k}  = t^{n}

\frac{2.303}{2.759*10^{-4} }  = t^{n}

Again take ln on both sides

ln(\frac{2.303}{2.759*10^{-4} })  =ln( t^{n})

9.03 = nln(t)

\frac{9.03}{n}  = ln(t)

\frac{9.03}{1.7}  = ln(t)

5.312 = ln(t)

Take exponential on both sides

e^{5.312} = e^{ln(t)}

202.75 = t

t = 202.75 seconds
