Answer:

The doctrine of stare decisis is a legal doctrine that mandates the courts to follow historical cases when making a ruling on a similar case.

The doctrine has a lot in common with the american legal system because the American legal system follows a case step by step before making conclusions.

Explanation:

Stare decisis ensures that cases with similar scenarios and facts are approached in the same way. it binds the courts to follow legal steps set by previous decisions.

In "The 75", Officer Dowd was an example of?
iris [78.8K]

Answer:

That's supposed to be the mission of our police. But the people whom NYPD officer Michael Dowd worked overtime to protect were crack dealers. And the only person he served was himself.

Once tagged the force's crookedest cop, Dowd worked the 75th Precinct in Brooklyn during the '80s and early '90s, a time when pushers were literally making money faster than they could count it.

Do you think people should be held accountable for threat's they made online? why or who not?
Vinvika [58]

It depends on how long ago that they made that poor decision. It also depends on if the victim holds a grudge or not, once is likely. So honestly it depends. But, in some States and/or Countries, Schools and Work forbidden Cyberbullying. So in that case, they may or may not accept the fate that the bully has threatened.

Although this may be confusing to take in, I’d say that yes, they should be held accountable, until they learn the fate they have crossed online.
