4. The man has a nervous condition and the city makes him too nervous.
5.The sister gave him a letter of introduction containing a doctor's notes.
6.The young lady is the niece of Mrs. Sappleton.
7.Vera told the story that Mrs.Sappleton's husband and brother normally goes for hunting but one day they did not return and the found out that they were dead but the wife refused to accept the fact so she always sits by the open window waiting for their ghost to come home.
8.The man was scared because Mrs.Sappleton came down the stairs and started to retell the tragedy but only thing was that she was really telling the true except the part about them dead because the weren't.
9.She said he ran off because of his fear for dogs.
