Answer:

his proposal for revenue sharing with the states

Explanation:

Nixon had ill feelings against the federal government, he grew under the New Deal and as a member of the Republican Party, he opposed Keynesian measures fiercely.

His revenue sharing proposal gave more financial flexibility to states, while at the same time reducing the federal government money and therefore its ability to enact large policies like the New Deal.

What are limitations of Hammurabi's Code as evidence of life in Babylonia
Helen [10]
The Code of Hammurabi can tell us much about ancient Babylonian society, but cannot show us everything.  The law code was written for the audience of Babylonian people in its own day, especially the scribes and officers of the law.  So there are many questions we would have from a distance much later in history that people then would have understood without needing explanation.  The intention of the law code was to inform people of laws and punishments, not to give later generations a full view of the whole of Babylonian life.  The law code was prepared by those in power in the government of Hammurabi -- we don't get any response from the people or indication of how the people then viewed the laws.  And ultimately, the law code is written in a detached, impersonal way -- as legal documents generally are written.  We don't get a feel for the personal lives or feelings of people living at that time in Babylonia.

mrs_skeptik [129]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

One goal of U.S involvement in the war in Afghanistan was to eliminate the terrorist cell led by Osama bin Laden, after this cell made itself responsible for the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

One challenge of U.S involvement in the war in Afghanistan was that the Afghans knew their territory very well. That is why President Bush ordered an air raid over Afghanistan, with the support of Great Britain.

One goal of U.S involvement in the war in Irak was to capture and kill Irak's dictator Sadam Hussein. One challenge of U.S involvement in the war in Irak was to demonstrate that Sadam Hussein had arsenals of weapons of mass destruction. The US troops never find these weapons.
