In a solar eclipse the moon goes in front of the sun and then and only then can the sun's corona be seen without dmaging your eye sight. In a lunar eclipe the earth is in front of the moon and as the sun is shining twords the earth, the earth creates a shadow and the moon apears to be red. Lunar eclipses happen more frequently.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth passes between the Moon and the Sun, and the Earth's shadow obscures the moon or a portion of it. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking all or a portion of the Sun. An eclipse can be total, partial, or annular.

Question 19 (1 point)
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

b) A series of stars that form a figure

Explanation:

In astronomy, a constellation is any of certain groupings of stars that form an imaginary outline or pattern on the celestial sphere. They are useful to track artificial satellites and in assisting astronomers and navigators to locate certain stars, therefore constellation is a series of stars that form a figure. A constellation can't be a region of the celestial sphere and all of the stars in it because not all stars in the celestial sphere form figures.

They are no figures in the night sky because constellations are starts, therefore they are present during day or night, it's not a term applicable to astrology because this is a pseudoscience not based on facts, like astronomy.

I hope you find this interesting and useful! Good luck!
