The table shows the relative size of the genomes, number of genes, and number of chromosomes for a variety of different organism

s. Based on what we know regarding the genetic code of all living things, how does the genetic code of a eukaryote organism compare to that of a prokaryote organism? A) Prokaryote organisms have much simpler DNA, containing fewer than four nitrogen bases. B) Eukaryote organisms have a larger genome containing a more complex set of nitrogen bases. C) Both types of organisms contain exactly the same four nitrogen bases, but in different sequences and numbers. D) Both types of organisms contain exactly the same four nitrogen bases, in the exact sequences, but in varying numbers.

Answer:

The correct answer would be option C.

DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is a polymer of nucleotides. It is composed of the same components which are; deoxyribose sugar, a phosphate group, same set of nitrogenous bases (adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine).

The difference in the nucleotide sequence of the DNA is the main reason for the variation observed in the genome of different organisms.

The change in the nucleotide sequence of DNA codes for different proteins and thus, different phenotypes in different organisms.

Answer:

I agree with her.

Explanation:

ATP definitely is the most widely used high energy molecule - especially for cells. But, it is not absolutely necessary for some "passive" cellular mechanics.  We can look at passive diffusion of cellular processes which may include; passive diffusion of water, or sugar molecular across a cellular membrane.

Where are hydrophobic interactions most likely to occur?
lutik1710 [3]
Hydrophobic effect is the tendency of non polar molecules (hydrophobic) in a solvent that is polar to interact with each other resulting to a hydrophobic interaction. These non polar molecules are called hydrophobes and are made of long chains of carbon that are water hating (do not interact with water). In this case, the hydrophobic interactions are most likely to occur on the core of a water soluble protein.
