Answer: At least one of the textbooks is free of errors.

In statistics, the complement rule allows us to connect the probability of an event with the probability of the complement of an event. This is done so that, if we know the probability of one of these two, we can find out that of the other. In this case, the complement of the given event (when several textbooks are edited, none of them are found to be free of errors) is: At least one of the textbooks is free of errors.

How does Hinton compensate for the limitations of a first-person narrator in The Outsiders?
gregori [183]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

Because Hinton chose not to write in first-person, we don't have Ponyboy's bias in the narrative. Through Hinton, we know what Ponyboy is thinking, but it's kind of like looking at his thoughts through a glass wall instead of becoming Ponyboy in the story. If that makes any sense. I did my best to explain.

Hope this helped :)

Describe the difference between a first- and third-person narratorÍs effects on a reader. What advantages and disadvantages are
juin [17]
When a novel is using the first person point of view, the reader is getting the impression that he is a part of a story, he is completely immersed in it. First person narrators tend to be more subjective and closer to the reader in that they think about what the reader may think, and not just narrate the events. On the other had, third person narrators are completely different - they give off this vibe of distance, and they are quite objective, usually tending to just narrate what is going on around them.
Hope this helps!
