A. no,it has too strong of a slant

One of the things one needs to do when performing research is vet a possible source by determining whether or not the source is biased. Sources should be free of “slant” and only communicate the factual information. Thus, opinion should not be present. We can see opinion in the excerpt with “We rejoice that old Brown has been hung” and “We hope his fate may be a warning…” Thus, this article is “slanted”/biased, therefore, not credible and should not be included in research because its inclusion would make your writing non-credible because of the use of a slanted/biased source.

The image below is playing on which Rhetorical Device?

Logo
Pathos
Kairos
Ethos
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

Pretty sure it's pathos

Explanation:

-Logos: logical appeal, points out internal consistency and clarity within its argument, can use data/facts

- Ethos: About the writer's or speaker's trustworthiness

- Pathos: emotional appeal, focuses attention on the values and beliefs of intended audience

- Kairos: About how timeless an argument is. For example, an ad featuring Avril Lavigne would be more effective for a teen magazine in 2002 than in 2012. A Sears ad featuring Kim Kardashian would be more appropriate in TeenVogue than it would be in AARP magazine

True or false: Deliberate practice is unnecessary to gain expertise.
Inessa05 [86]

FALSE.

In virtually every field of knowledge, practice is as important as theory. You study and learn in theory how things work, according to your area of expertise. However, you gain experience even in practice.

For example, the act of driving. You learn in theory all the traffic laws and the running of the car. However, the first time you drive is usually stressful. However, after a while, with practice, driving becomes something very simple. That's because you practiced.
