Dear Amelia,

               Hello! How are you? Last week I stayed with my English friends' family. Her name is Lydia and she is so much fun to hang out with! Her mom is a scientist and has her own lab in the house. She's always forgetting to brush her hair. She's really funny and would tell us a science joke everyday. Haha! Lydia's father is an author. He's written 3 books so far. All of them are cookbooks. He's also a cook. He gave us delicious breakfasts everyday! Lydia has a little brother named Sam. He's 5. He doesn't really do anything but his favorite color is Red. He loves TV. Lydia loves elephants and her favorite color is Grey. She has a room full of elephant posters, stuffed animals, and even her bed is shaped like an elephant!

               The whole week I stayed, we went to the zoo (to see the elephants), the park, the museum, and had picnics everyday! My english has improved a lot too Amelia! I can now pronounce many words flawlessly and my vocabulary has increased! (Increased is a new word I learned) I would love to visit Lydia again and maybe next time, you can come too!
