Taking In oxygen is very important because it allows your cells to do things, like make energy from the food you eat. Plants ‘breathe’ too, but they do it through tiny openings in leaves called stomata. Stomata open and close to allow the intake of carbon dioxide and the release of oxygen.

The liver is a digestive gland that helps in the process of digestion. It produces bile. The bile is collected in the gallbladder and it is poured in the upper part of the small intestine through the common bile duct. The bile assist in digestion. The other important function of the liver is to store digested food.
