Are the needs of people ever more important than the needs of animals and the planet? Why?

Yes and no. Yes because people can reproduce to keep the population of the species alive. The reason i said no is because animals and plants keep the human race alive. Plants and animals are technally food. Plants circulate the oxygen so we can breathe.
